WASHIRKA FARMERS is an association limited by guarantee without share capital that was founded in 2021 and registered in 2022 in Uganda. 

The association provides   a wide  range of  interventions including consultancy services to agribusiness setups ranging from farmers, livestock breeders and farm entrepreneurs, bridge the gap between the producer and the final consumer of agricultural produce, carryout research, documentation and presentation of findings in agribusiness and farm entrepreneurship, provide business, financial and marketing consultancy services to all business setups, organizations, companies, government agencies, trade in all agricultural produce and  general merchandise  among others and doing all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the company.

Objectives

  1. Provide business advisory services and support to farmers and companies which produce animal feeds, seeds, fertilizers, weed killers and other materials used on farms.
  2. Provide technical advice to landowners, environmental agencies, organizations and conservation bodies on matters of integrated farm management, environmental and natural resource management.
  3. Provide expert advice to organizations, companies, Business owners and government agencies on matters of business development, finance, marketing, sales, operations, customer service, accounting and finance, project planning and marketing among others.
  4. Help organizations, companies and entrepreneurs organize and assign business projects, assess business performance, ascertain business risks and provide technical advice, develop and implement ongoing business/organizations budgets, develop detailed business and marketing plans, develop and implement promotional campaigns, formulate agricultural production plans among others.
  5. Conduct research, information gathering, initiate structure documentation and presentation of findings and integrate best business practices while evaluating business prospect goals and objectives.
  6. Engage in promoting the production, processing, consumption, importation and exportation of legally recommended Agricultural produce.
  7. Develop a network for exchanging information through education and trainings for professional and other participants of the Agricultural, business and production industry.
  8. Liaise with other legally recognized Agribusiness companies in the world that may lead to the attainment of our set objectives.
  9. Encourage sound business and professional practice, consciousness to the environment, and social and socio-economic issues related to the Agricultural industry.
  10. provide technical advice, consultation services or any other services as may be incidental in furthering the principal objects of the Company.
  11. Obtain affiliation to regional, international bodies and institutions and to enter into memoranda of understanding, agreements or any other kind of activities aimed at achieving the objects of the company.
